For both SIFAS and GBM, Both games had a formerly unnamed protagonist ( Yu Takasaki in Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, and Ryusei Fudou in Gundam Breaker Battlogue).
Both Love Live! and Gundam had their own Gacha Mobile Games (Mobage): Love Live! School Idol Festival/All Stars, and Gundam Breaker Mobile (Gundam Battle Gunpla Warfare) & Mobile Suit Gundam Battle (敢达争锋对决, a PRC exclusive game). Haro, one of the robots from the franchise, serves as a major mascot for the animation studio. Both Love Live! and Mobile Suit Gundam shares the same staple animation studio: Sunrise. Kaori Maeda (the voice of Shizuku Ousaka) is heavily implied to be a Gundam fan, as she uses "Sieg Zeon" as a friendly expression before drinking her alcoholic drinks, ans she is seen holding a Gundam Front Tokyo exclusive Z'Gok Claw Cushion on her 2021 birthday video. Aside from several Easter eggs in several media including Tomori's mention of the name in one of the Nijigasaki Radio podcasts, one of the Niconamas, the Unit Live Adventure's New Romantic Sailors concert, many of the voice actresses' involvement in the franchise, and the cameo of the Unicorn Gundam statue in the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club anime, The Love Live! franchise has yet to officially collaborate with Gundam. The Gundam series (though used for the series' Build Fighters concept) appears in the shared fanon universe created by FigureGunplaFan.
